Your rights

What you are entitled to as a client of a SEBI-registered Research Analyst.

Right to fair research

You have the right to receive research based on objective, independent analysis — free from conflicts of interest that have not been disclosed to you.

Right to disclosure

You have the right to be informed of our SEBI registration details, fees, methodology, rating definitions and any personal interest our analyst holds in securities covered.

Right to suitability information

Our research notes carry risk disclosures so you can assess suitability for your own situation. We do not provide personalised investment advice.

Right to grievance redressal

You have the right to lodge a complaint and receive a written resolution not later than 21 days of receipt. Unresolved complaints can be escalated to SEBI SCORES 2.0 or the Smart ODR portal.

Right to access records

You may request copies of research reports you have received or paid for within the applicable retention period.

Right to know how AI is used

You have the right to know the extent to which artificial-intelligence tools are used in producing the research you receive. We publish that in full on our Disclosures page. Every recommendation originates from and is signed off by a NISM-certified analyst, and Desvelado remains fully responsible for all output, AI-assisted or not.

Right to accessible services

You have the right to services that are accessible, including for differently-abled investors. Our website targets WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility — see our Accessibility Statement, and write to grievance@desvelado.in if any content is not accessible to you.

What we commit to, in every report and every interaction.

Independence & objectivity

Our research analyst maintains independence from the companies and securities covered. Ratings and views are based solely on analysis, not commercial relationships.

Full fee disclosure

Fees are disclosed before any subscription is activated. We do not charge fees exceeding the limit prescribed by SEBI for individual/HUF clients (₹1,51,000 per annum).

Conflict disclosure

Any personal holding or business interest in covered securities is disclosed in each research report and on our Disclosures page.

Methodology transparency

Rating definitions (Buy / Add / Hold / Reduce / Sell) and price-target methodology are published and consistent across all reports.

No guaranteed returns

We never promise or imply assured returns. All investing involves risk including loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results.

Record maintenance

We maintain all client records and research reports for the period prescribed under SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014 — including records of interactions with prospective clients, before any subscription begins.

Disclosure of AI use

We disclose the extent to which AI tools are used in drafting, summarising and distributing research, and we remain fully liable for all output. The investment view itself is never produced by a tool alone.

How to raise a grievance

We take every complaint seriously. Here is the escalation path:

1. Contact us directly. Email grievance@desvelado.in or use the form on our Grievance page. We acknowledge within 3 working days and resolve within 21 days.
2. SEBI SCORES 2.0. If unresolved in 21 days, register a complaint at scores.sebi.gov.in.
3. Smart ODR. For conciliation and arbitration, use the SEBI ODR portal at smartodr.in.
