Scope
This statement covers desvelado.in, the client portal at desvelado.in/portal, account opening at desvelado.in/onboarding, and the PDF documents we send to clients.
Conformance status
Standard: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Status: Partially conforms. Most of the website now meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Research-report PDFs are tagged for screen readers since 19 October 2026; the charts and images in them are not yet described in text, and tax-invoice PDFs are not yet tagged (see Known limitations below). An independent IAAP-certified audit has been scoped but not yet conducted; this status will be re-stated once the auditor's report is published.

What we have built in
- Fully operable with a keyboard, with a “Skip to main content” link that is the first focusable element on every page and a 2 px gold focus outline on every interactive element.
- Every page has a language, a unique and descriptive title, and labelled form fields.
- Error messages are tied to their fields with
aria-describedby, focus moves to the first error, and the error is announced through a persistent live region. - Reduced motion: non-essential animations are disabled when your device requests it.
- Reflows at 200 % zoom; mobile pages measure 320 / 390 px wide with no horizontal scroll.
- Dark theme and a built-in High Contrast mode, both independently tested for contrast against WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- An Accessibility options menu, built by us (not a third-party overlay) — text size, contrast, line spacing, readable fonts, reading guide and reduced motion. The site is designed to work without it; the menu is a convenience, not the conformance basis.

Agreement PDFs are tagged (18 October 2026): they carry a language, a title, a structure tree and a document outline, and the per-page chrome is marked as an artifact so screen readers do not read it aloud. Tax-invoice PDFs carry a language and a title but are not yet tagged; email grievance@desvelado.in for an accessible copy.
Technical details
The site is HTML, CSS and JavaScript (WAI-ARIA where needed) and is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, and with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
Content we do not control: external sites we link to, such as SEBI SCORES, Smart ODR and LinkedIn, and the identity-proof, e-sign and payment pages served by our licensed vendors during account opening. If one of those stops you, contact us and we will help you finish another way.
How we assessed this
Internal pre-audit on 17 October 2026 by Desvelado's engineering team, in the format an IAAP-certified auditor would use: automated testing with axe-core and Lighthouse, scripted keyboard, zoom, reflow and contrast checks, accessibility-tree review, and a review against the 55 WCAG 2.2 success criteria. 22 of 23 findings were remediated and verified in production between 17 and 18 October 2026. The remaining limitations are listed above.
An independent audit by an IAAP-certified professional is being scoped. Once complete, the auditor's name, the date of the report, the browser / assistive-technology matrix they tested, and the final conformance status will be added here.

Desvelado maintains this website in the spirit of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and in alignment with widely-adopted accessibility practice (WCAG 2.2 Level AA). This statement will be updated to cite any specific SEBI requirement on digital-platform accessibility once such a requirement is in force.
